Congratulations to the February Austin Music City CD Voter’s poll winners, BOOMTOWN!
What a battle! After one of the closest contests thus far, Houston band BOOMTOWN emerged the winner as fans from all over the world voted to put them in the lead. The legend of Beaumont continues as people are still trying to figure out if there is something in the water or just what it is that keeps turning out huge talent including writers, singers and entertainers.

Natives Mark Chesnutt, Clay Walker, and Tracy Byrd are a few names that are already associated with the area, not to mention George Jones and Janis Joplin. Now comes the amazing band BOOMTOWN to continue the legacy.

The group, which consists of Donice Morace, Paige Price and Chuck Britten have received rave reviews from many radio stations and live music venues all over Texas and have created a tremendous buzz in the business with the phrase “next big thing” being repeated fairly often. Once you hear a few of their songs it’s easy to see what all the excitement is about. These are three singers that could very easily stand on their own individually but the way they work together forms a definite and distinct sound that just has to be heard to fully appreciate.

Their high energy live shows have already become legend throughout the state as they continue to pack clubs, fairs and other venues with huge enthusiastic crowds that are staying on their feet through most of the show. They have a tremendous following and a very loyal listening audience which is reflected in the sales of their self titled CD with one single off the album “Bottle To The Bible” being picked up by nationally syndicated radio show “Sunday’s Kind of Country” in 33 national country markets. Robbie Lynn of SKOC stated “When I heard this song and met BOOMTOWN, I knew we had to put this song in our weekly rotation. The response from our listeners has been overwhelming and should be a direct reflection of the talent and passion these guys have towards their music and their fans”

Other releases from the album have faired well also, Chrissie Roberts of Clear Channel radio was quoted as saying “Listening to BOOMTOWN is like taking a vacation; you have a good time, leave happy and relaxed. The tight harmony, good song selection, and on stage chemistry keeps me going to see them over and over.”
